Cuzco, Peru
"Going to Peru is, well,
if you ever have an
opportunity in your life
to go there, you should do it because it is
absolutely mind boggling."
-- Dean Stockwell, actor
"...there
must have been days of light gravity in old times, when people could
play tiddley winks with huge chunks of stone."
-- Kurt Vonnegut

Nina Fogelman
"I have lived
and traveled to many places but nothing ever impacted me like this
magical country."
When in 1983,
Nina accepted a one year contract in Peru as Director of the World
Council of SpinoligistsTM Institute, little did she
know she would end up staying in Peru for six years.
Nina was fortunate
enough to live in the Sacred Valley and even adopt 4 children who
are now grown into extraordinary adults with children of their own.
"Peru taught me so much about life, my relationship with others
and with the world around me. When friends came to visit, it was
very important for me to share this with them and so I showed them
Peru my way. Now I would like to share my Peru with you."
Even after
returning to the U.S. Nina maintains her strong ties with her friends
and family there and visits often. Since the birth of Ancient Summit
she is constantly in Peru working to make sure you have the best
experience possible. “Things can change fast in a country
like Peru and I don’t like surprises and therefore don’t
want any big surprises for the people who trust me enough to come
to Peru - My Way”.
| “We
were in the Sacred Valley for 4 days, 4 in Cusco, 2 in Puno
and 1 in Lima before going to the Galapagos Islands which
Nina also arranged for us. Guides top notch. We weren't happy
with the plans for one of our days in the Sacred Valley (we
decided we had seen enough ruins) and when we told the guide
he listened, rearranged the day on the spot and took us to
places that were exactly what we wanted, turned out the day
was one of the best we had on the trip. He made the decision
without having to contact his office so no time was wasted.
We have travelled throughout the world and I can honestly
say that was unusual. The altitude was a bit of a
problem, just take your pills and drink LOTS of water. Everywhere
we stayed was just ideal; of course I did review our accommodations
with Nina before going. She is gracious, never makes you feel
you are bothering her or being too demanding. I don't know
how she has the time or can afford to provide such individualized
trips for her clients. It was our good fortune to find her
on Frommers. Believe me your trip will be special with Nina.

From California:
I just booked a custom 2 week itinerary for Peru in October with
Nina at Ancient Summit. I found Nina to have a real expertise and
understanding of Peru (having lived there herself.) She helped me
put together my fantasy itinerary at a very affordable price. She
answered all my questions and made every effort to get my trip just
right.
It is obvious that Nina is far more than just a travel agent, she
is someone who deeply loves Peru. I can highly recommend her to
anyone looking for a real Peru experience. I can hardly wait to
go!
You can check her website out at www.ancientsummit.com,
you won't regret it.
